Two Women Under the Sun

A striking figurative lithograph depicting two women seated beneath a pale summer sun. The simplified forms, bold blocks of color, and unusual perspective give the work a distinctly mid-century feel. We particularly like the contrast between the soft blue sky and the earthy brown and ochre tones of the architecture and figures.

Signed and dated 1961 by the artist Fabian Lundqvist (1913–1989). Unnumbered.
