A charming, painterly still life of potted plants and flowers, filled with greens, dusty reds and soft blues. The loose, expressive brushwork gives the painting a wonderfully immediate quality, while the small lemon and fruit scattered across the table add a lovely sense of everyday life. Framed in an understated vintage frame, it’s a warm and characterful piece that would sit equally well in a traditional or more eclectic interior.

You can expect some light crackling and paint loss in places, but nothing that takes away from this striking piece.

Signed by the artist Stig Hertzman-Ericson (1901-1988) and dated 1939.

The original vintage frame is included in the price. It shows signs of wear and tear consistent with its age and use. Frame size: 57 x 72 cm.

Droit de suite is included in the price where applicable.
