An original Swedish oil painting depicting a working harbour with fishing boats, sheds and stacked crates. Painted in a restrained palette of soft blues, greys and warm earth tones, the composition is built from bold geometric forms that give the scene a distinctly modernist character while retaining the atmosphere of a traditional Scandinavian fishing village.

The painting is signed and dated 1961, and is presented in a complementary vintage frame with a linen slip that beautifully enhances its clean lines and muted colors.

Artist: Signed by Ragnar Ring (1908-1999) and dated 1961.

Frame size: 41 x 71 cm.

The painting is sold framed as shown. The frame is vintage and shows light, age-appropriate wear consistent with its character.

If applicable, resale royalty (droit de suite) is included in the price.
