Vintage Tapestry - Crocus röd by Ann-Mari Forsberg (née Lindbom) for Märta Måås-Fjetterström.

Designed in 1945, executed before 1964.

Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF AML.

Newly framed with art glass and presented against a dark green passepartout, this piece is completed with a deep, solid oak frame.

The frame measures: 43,5 * 64 cm.

Märta Måås-Fjetterström (1873–1941) is considered one of Sweden's greatest textile artists. At her studio in Båstad, talented weavers produced exceptional rugs and tapestries from her designs. In 1943, Ann-Mari Forsberg joined the studio alongside Marianne Richter, helping to shape its next chapter. Today, Märta Måås-Fjetterström's work is represented in museums and institutions around the world, and the studio in Båstad remains active, continuing its legacy of handwoven textiles.
