Abstract composition on canvas by Bryan Whitfield (1935–2022).

Recently framed in a wooden box frame that beautifully complements the artwork, it includes two hanging fittings, allowing you to display it either horizontally or vertically.

Frame size: 42,5 * 53 cm.

This piece reflects Whitfield’s refined style, shaped by his studies at Manchester Art School (1958) and later at the Slade in London. He eventually met and married fellow artist Catherine Whitfield, and together they raised three children. In the late 1960s, the family traveled through Spain and Morocco in a van, painting and working along the way — an adventure later chronicled in the book A Moment in Time: Spain 1969.

Bryan Whitfield never sold his work during his lifetime. This piece was acquired directly from his family.
