Welcome to Our Studio!
Vintage Works has always been, and will continue to be, an online shop first. That is where everything begins. But just a short walk from Heidi’s home in Laholm, there is now also a physical space behind it all. A studio where the day to day work happens, and where customers can visit by appointment.
From Empty Space to Studio
The building itself had been standing empty for years before this. It needed a lot of care to bring it back to life. There has been plenty of work behind the scenes, from updating the electricity to painting walls and restoring surfaces. Slowly, piece by piece, the space has taken shape. It has not been about rushing to a finished result, but about creating something that feels right over time.
Not a Traditional Gallery
Today, the studio is where every part of the process comes together. This is where pieces are unpacked, photographed, stored, and prepared before being sent on to their next home. It is also a place to experience Vintage Works in person. Not as a traditional gallery, but as a space that feels more relaxed and lived in, where it is easier to imagine how a piece might fit into your own home.
The space is still evolving and likely always will be. That is part of its charm. Nothing feels overly polished, and that is intentional.
Come Visit Us By Appointment
For those who happen to be nearby or passing through, visits are warmly welcomed by appointment. Laholm is an easy trip, around two hours from Copenhagen and about an hour and a half from Gothenburg, and especially lovely during the summer months.
The Shop is Always Open Online
And for those who are further away, the online shop remains at the heart of everything. Almost every piece is accompanied by a short video, offering a closer look at details, texture, and scale. Just reach out if you would like to see more.
